    Author - Justin Berger

    Justin Berger

"One of my very first childhood memories is sitting in my living room on green shag carpet (it was the 70s) and seeing a trailer for the original Star Wars on TV. What sticks out most vividly is Luke Skywalker walking in to Princess Leia's cell on the Death Star, removing his Stormtrooper helmet and proclaiming, "I'm Luke Skywalker, I'm here to rescue you!"

My love affair with Star Wars began then and has endured over the past forty-plus years." - Justin Berger

    BIO
Justin Berger is the author of The Empire Strikes Back Unauthorized Timeline and has worked as editor and proofreader on other Star Wars books including Kim Simmons' Kenner Star Wars Photography Volumes 1-4 and Richard Woloski's Today in Star Wars History.

Justin has spent most of his life working in the music and film industries. His experience includes artist management, video/film production, writing, and promotion.

"Return of the Jedi holds a special place in my heart. For my seventh birthday my parents took me to see it on the biggest screen in London. I was born in 1976 so I don't remember a time without Star Wars. It surrounded me then and it surrounds me now." - Jamie Benning

    BIO
In the early 2000s Jamie embarked upon a documentary series called Filmumentaries in which he endeavoured to make the best behind the scenes videos he could on the original Star Wars Trilogy.
Almost 20 years later he continues to create video and audio material.

Since 2021, Jamie hosts "The Filmumentaries Podcast", in which he interviews the craftspeople behind the scenes of his favourite films.
